Training and equipping seminars.
‘Moving in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit’
The seminars and hands on workshops aim to train equip and empower the people of God to move in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Course participants will be encouraged to deepen their faith and prepare to play an active part in church life.
Teaching will focus on the person of The Holy Spirit, the purpose of the gifts and how they can be used for the service of others.
Ros will be sharing through her own experience, supported by scripture, how God speaks to his people, equipping them with every gift for the up building of the Church.
Participants will learn how to pray with others for healing, and how to discern Gods word for them.
Workshops 1-3 are suitable for people who have recently come into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Workshops 4-6 are suitable for those who are already using the Charismatic gifts of the Holy Spirit.

1. ‘Moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit’, (a two part teaching)
Now about spiritual gifts (the special endowment of super natural energy) brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant.
1 Corinthians 12: 1. The Amplified Bible
A. Recognizing the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
How does the Holy Spirit build up the church?
We will examine the charismatic gifts of service. And pray for their release in us.
We will also look at the many gifts that the Holy Spirit gives freely.
In this workshop you will be encouraged to discern your own gifting, and begin to learn how God can use you for others.
B How does God speak to us for others.
In the second part, we will look at the wisdom and knowledge gifts, and how God will speak to you for the good of others. We will practice listening and also praying with each other
2. Witnessing to the power of the risen Christ (a two part teaching)
‘They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;’
Revelation 12v11
A. Learning to communicate the gospel to others in a simple way by using your testimony
We will look at the importance of passing on the faith we have received, and the way a simple testimony can change lives.
You will prepare a simple outline of your testimony and share it with another person
(Don’t worry if think you haven’t got a testimony – we’ll help you!)
B. Outline on practicing to share your testimony in a small group setting.
In the second part we will look at some practical ways you can adapt and share your testimony in a group situation. We will look at some basic techniques when speaking in public, and how to use your own life as a witness to the saving power of the lord Jesus Christ,
3.Seeking the heart of Jesus for vision
‘Where there is no vision, my people perish’
Proverbs 29:18
We all need Godly vision for our lives and in our prayer groups.
In this workshop we will learn how to listen through silent prayer, and seek the heart of Jesus for vision.
(Individually and corporately)
By soaking in his glorious presence we can recognize how God speaks to our hearts and changes us in the stillness and silence.
Teresa of Avila speaks of silent prayer as 'Gazing on God as He gazes on me.'
Workshops 4-6 suitable for those who are already using the Charismatic gifts
4. Hearing the Prophetic Word (a two part teaching)
‘I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy’. 1 Corinthians 14:5.
A. Developing the gift of prophecy.
In this workshop we will examine how God speaks to his church, through the prophetic gifts by examining prophecy throughout the scriptures.
We will look at the different ways God speaks to us, and how to discern what he is saying.
In small groups we will practice listening and sharing Gods prophetic word for another.
B. ‘Godly dreams, visions, interpretation and revelations’
`In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. Joel 2:17"
In this workshop we will examine the way God has always spoken to his people through dreams visions and revelations, and how he will speak to us if we listen.
We spend 1/3 of our life asleep, but God never sleeps. We will learn how to pray for interpretation for ourselves and others.
5 Spiritual Warfare
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:11 - 13
In this workshop we will learn about the ongoing battle which is the reality of the Christian life. Spiritual Warfare is warring or battling spiritually on behalf of yourself or others in the name of the Lord Jesus. The longer we walk with the lord, the more we realize that we are soldiers in the army of the lord, and we battle with heavenly weapons of warfare in his army.
6. Healing Ministry training
‘Equipping Gods people for the work of the ministry’
Ephesians 4:12
This is a workshop which covers various aspects and values of the healing ministry,
Including ground rules and guidelines.
It will encourage and train lay people within their prayer groups to minister healing.
This workshop is for all who feel they are called to minister healing to others and want to form a ministry team within their church or group
